THE BEST PHOTO SPOTS IN POSITANO

THE BEST PHOTO SPOTS IN POSITANO

Positano, one of the largest and most popular towns of the Amalfi Coast, got its popularity for good reason. With stunning cliffs cascading into crystal clear waters, I can guarantee you’ll never get sick of the landscape here. Check out my favorite spots to bring your camera and capture the full beauty of Positano.

While some of these are located within walking distance from downtown Positano, others are only accessible via car or scooter. To make the most of your time, I’d recommend renting a scooter from Sorrento Trips and make a day of exploring all of these different spots.

Positano Spiaggia

Positano Main Beach

The first spot you have to capture is of the main beach of Positano looking up at the hillside, as pictured below. This spot is walkable from downtown and located right on Positano Spiaggia, or the main beach of Positano. Most of the other spots are going to be from the hillside looking down, so this unique perspective looking up is definitely one to capture.

From the Water

Positano Main Beach

Another perspective from the same location as the last spot is to take photos from the water looking back at the town of Positano. Once again, this view looking up at the hillsides provides a unique perspective on Positano.

Via Cristoforo Colombo

44 Via Cristoforo Colombo

For a classic look out over the town of Positano, check out this easy-to-access viewpoint that’s just a stop along one of the main roads in town. You might have to get strategic with how you take the photo considering the cars and pedestrians in the area, but it has a great view nontheless.

The Fruit Stand

This is my favorite viewpoint along the Amalfi Coast because the views span 180 degrees and provide a unique perspective on the shots you usually see. The fruit stand in the picture below shows the view facing east and the image below that shows the view facing west with Positano in the background. You’ll need a form of transportation to get here, and I recommend booking this scooter.

Fiordo di Furore

While not what you might recognize as a typical beach, Fiordo di Furore was one of my favorite beaches on the Amalfi Coast because of the beautiful and unique view you have while on it. Situated underneath the Fiordo di Furore, or a centuries-old arched bridge, this is a favorite spot for cliff jumpers and a great place to take some unique photos.
