UNITED STATES
Whether you’re from the United States, like me, or abroad, exploring the U.S. should be on everyone’s bucket list. Whether that’s seeing a Broadway show in the city that never sleeps or hiking some of the mountain ranges out west, there’s something for everyone when traveling to the United States.
THE BASICS
When to go
What you want to experience really changes the time of year you want to come to the U.S.
- Winter: If you’re the adventurous type, ski some of the amazing mountain ranges in Utah and Colorado.
- Spring: A lot of the major cities in the north don’t end up getting warm until May, so I’d recommend visiting California or the South during the Springtime.
- Summer: And just like that, the northern cities are blisteringly hot, so I would explore the Pacific Northwest during the summertime.
- Fall: This is the best time to visit the Midwest and Northeast to spot some of that classic Fall foliage.
What to do
- Road Trip: Rent a convertible or an RV and meander your way across the continent, stopping at some of the classic locales along the way.
- Go Camping: Camping, and all that comes along with it, is one of my favorite summer activities in North America. Whether in the mountains in the West, the lakes in the Midwest, or the rolling hills in the Northeast, you can’t go wrong with a weekend off the grid spent sleeping under the stars.
- Tour the Cities: You truly can’t say you’ve been to the U.S. without exploring some of our major cities. Some of my favorites are New York, Chicago, Nashville, and San Francisco.
- Explore the California Coast: There’s nothing quite like renting a convertible and driving down highway 1.
