MEXICO

Mexico is rich with cultural history as well as some of the most stunning beaches and most fun resorts in the world. Check out my favorite destinations, including the lively capital of Mexico City and a small beach town on the west coast, to give you a glimpse into the best things to do across the country.

THE BASICS

When to go

The beauty of Mexico is that it can be enjoyed all year round, depending on where you want to go. Mexico City is best visited between March and May, whereas the beaches on the east and west coasts can be enjoyed whenever you’re in the mood for a beach getaway.

What to do

  • Relax on the Beach: Unless you’re exploring CDMX, you’ll most likely be on the coast when you travel to Mexico. Enjoy the warm sun and great surf of Mexico and just relax on the beach.
  • Tour the Temples: Across Mexico, you can find various preserved ruins of the Aztec and Mayan empires that once ruled there. Spend time learning the history of this beautiful country by exploring the temples.
  • Eat, eat, eat! In my opinion, Mexican cuisine is some of the best in the world. Whether you grab street tacos along the beach or snag a reservation at a high-end restaurant in Mexico City, you’ll never regret indulging in Mexico.
